I received my first Omega watch yesterday - a black Seamaster Professional 300M Co-Axial, and I love it. I've wanted a really special watch for a while but it's only recently that I've had the funds to be able to purchase one.
When I was younger I always wanted a Tag Heur and then a Breitling watch but I've gone off those now - they are too busy and just don't look and feel special enough. I also looked at some Rolex watches, the Submariner being one which I liked, but for me it was too overpriced.

So, here is my SMP :)

Hi. I have no idea. I snapped a picture in a jewelry shop in Miami long before I got into watches. I knew it cost $300 usd and thought no way...I'm not spending that. Who knew?

You have a stunning watch. I purchased my first Omega, Seamaster Professional Chronograph/Chronometer 2004 last year. Its the one that looks just like the Americas Cup. And I just cant take it off. They are in my humble opinion a nicer looking watch than the rivals.

I may be brave and post my own first forum as I would love to know more about my model of watch.

    Regards James

I bought the same watch a few months ago. Fantastic piece - one of my favorite watches.

How thick are SMPs compared to POs?

Just did an eyeball of mine over a tape measure and it is 15mm total thickness (roughly).
