Hi all, Have been on the forums for the past year and a bit. Most collected Tissots so far. But I snagged this one on Ebay about a month ago. Had it serviced, and inserted a new crystal, and just picked it up this AM. One of the auto wheels was completely destroyed and had to be replaced. Now it's winding smoothly and working great Serial dates it to 1956. I believe the crown, hands are original. Caseback is in great condition and the "Seamaster" and "Waterproof" are still very much intact. I can't tell that it has ever been polished, lugs look sharp to me. Put in a genuine Omega replacement crystal (except I used the gold tension, which I had ordered by mistake). I don't actually mind how it looks, contrasted with the cream/white honeycomb dial. Only issue is the "Swiss Made" is partially obstructed by the tension ring, although it is definitely there and intact (had the watchmaker check during servicing). Apparently not an uncommon issue with these models during the 1950s. Can find videos of the watch below:
