Excited to receive this constellation just now. It is 168.004 and cal 561 with serial number in 20 million (1964 I was told). Using my very limited knowledge, I think it has 'Pie Pan', 'cross hair', 'two tone', and 'hidden crown'. Oh, BOR (1502/11) too. It seems to keep time well. The only thing I do not like is the hidden crown. It is difficult to change date and wind up. Might be an easy way to wind it.

Before the purchase, I did some research and confirmed the serial/case/cal number combo. I also checked the MOY test, the direction of the star, and the shape of the date surround. Everything looks fine to me, but I am too new to know :).

Wanted to have some honest feedbacks here. Thanks a lot!

Beautiful watch in really good shape. Serial number 20 million something is actually 1963. :D

One more: only the hour and minute hands have lume. Rest is total dark.

I think that if you'll look at the outer end of the hour markers you might find some lume as well. Can't tell for sure from the pictures.

Then again, given the age it's quite likely that it won't light up anymore, unless it has been relumed at some point...

    Looks very nice
    Congratulations!
The case has been polished but the bezel and lugs still have their definition
Good cross hair pie pan dial
Lume on the hands but no Ts - so hopefully depending on the full serial no it's in that era where they weren't used
You have to be pleased with this Connie
Don't bother trying to wind it by the crown
Just move the watch back and forth on your wrist to get it going and wear it to wind it up

I think there may be notches for lume on the indices
    Could have been removed

Oh yes - If it hasn't been serviced
Get it serviced before you wear it

Lumes on the notches seems to be there. Very nice one. No T dial OK for this era... Just let this one go few weeks ago... Same dial variation with lume on the notches.

I have a Seamaster with recessed crown. It is a bit annoying at first but you soon get used to it (I use my thumbnail to gently pull the crown out).

Your new Constellation is an exceptionally nice watch. I wish my first Constellation had been that good!

Good find. Extra nice that the hardware is Pink Gold.

It is stainless steel. The pink hue is only on the dial. Looks very nice. I am now very happy. Oh, still not like the recessed/hidden crown. Looks good but not user friendly if you want to manual wind or change date/time.
