I inherited my father's '68 321 Speedy and it needs a new face and bracelet. I'm looking to get "new old" parts. Anyone have a lead on where one could start looking?

Pics please. It would have to be in very poor shape to need a new dial.

Hello mate. Nice to have you on the forum. I also got my Dad's old Speedy and the forum members have been a great help.

Best thing is to take as many good quality, high resolution photographs as you can and upload them with any additional information you have including which part of the world you live in. If you do that you'll get some expert help.;)

Generally on a piece like yours you don't want to replace the dial. Let's see some pictures so we can advise you :)

A period correct dial for a 60's Speedmaster in decent condition is into the thousands nowadays. eBay is one of the best sources.

What's wrong with the dial to make you consider replacement? Do you have any pics?

If you call a dial a face I would be cautious to start expeditions like this (honest advice btw)

Basically, if you look around here for a while, originality is valued above all else. If you mean the dial, where Omega is written and the hour markers and subdials by face, it would be prohibitively expensive to source a correct one as a replacement. If you just mean the hesalite (acrylic) crystal, that's much easier.

Please take the photos and upload them - the folks here can definitely give you a better idea as to the specifics. One word of warning - DO NOT SEND IT TO OMEGA FOR SERVICE - they do not preserve watches, and tend to ruin vintage pieces to return them to "as new looking condition" which typically will take several thousand dollars off of the value.

I'm obviously a newby. On some very good advice (thank you waterproofpt) I've attach pics and my apologies for bad OF manners. These pics are pretty rough. Since these were taken, I had the watch sent to Omega to be serviced. They replaced the dial and hands, the crown, crystal and several other parts which Omega returned all of them. The bracelet provided from the service is very light, aluminum possibly.

So, I'm having the dial and hands changed back but still would like to find an original braclet. I now know it's a 105-012-66. #2495xxxx, and research leads me to think I'm looking for a 7912/16 or 1501-1035/6.

I could use some good advice so, please reply if you're willing to help a newby.
    Thank you in advance.

Who is holding the gun to their head?

Need to be sure that Omega returned the bezel too, if they replaced that also. Very important
