Nice! Is there a possibility of having a stainless steel bracelet for it?

Not that I know of, but the good news is, this thing is a strap monster.

It would be tough to fit a generic given the thick lugs and 19mm lug width.

I will be petitioning @Uncle Seiko in due course to make one 😉

That’s cool dude. You achieved, as you said, your endgame watch. It’s very nice looking there are a couple seikos I’m snooping around for but the fact you caught the “big one” must be a nice feeling.

Chocolate Bar or Waffle strap would be correct IMO.

Same movement as a 6215?

Not the same. 6215 is low-beat, 6159 is high-beat. The cases are obviously similar, but there are also some other differences beside the movement.

Did both have countdown bezels?

IMO, the 6159 has an elapsed-time bezel (as with OP watch), and the 6215 has a countdown bezel. Not wanting to start a debate, but when you see deviations from this, I personally believe they are not original.

Thanks I don’t have the knowledge to debate that issue but the OP 6159 is much nicer than the tuna that I used to want after I saw this

The 6159 is primo. I'd like to add one as well. 👍

Agreed there... I’m pretty sure these came on the Chocolate Bar, based upon what I’ve read and seen. Apparently some might have even come on an orange one.

For either, though, I highly recommend William Jean straps. They only come in 19mm, but they’re the closest I’ve seen to the OEM straps.

I don’t have any pics of the straps on my 6159, but here they are on other watches:

An updated photo post-service with a NOS crystal installed 👍

it’s been a while now, but I’m still deep in the honeymoon phase 🥰
