I’m mid-way through negotiating on a Speedmaster Tintin, have my name on the list for the Snoopy 50th and would also like a DSOTM. Pray for me!!!
Praying hard for you now - hold tight.

He bought his last watch then rationalizes another watch purchase with whatever means necessary. Repeat.

Advises you to just buy your grail first and stop there.
But my grails are always changing

There are additional guidelines to prevent this...
1. Don’t read any watch publications
2. Don’t visit any Watch Forums
3. All watch stores and boutiques... off limits
4. Avoid all other WIS and watch collectors

The path to salvation is difficult, heartbreaking, frustrating and requires endless energy and dedication.

My grail watch was and still is my Omega Snoopy below. This was my third Omega so I really should’ve been done and dusted at this point.

Unfortunately since then I’ve bought 3 more SeaMaster including these;

It really is a curse!!!

When you have the same watch with a different dial / bezel variation, then you know you have crossed the abyss.

And what about the guys who have multiples of the exact same watch.... seen that too, they haven’t crossed, they have fallen deep

Yeah, but they have different straps... it’s cool.
Well yes. Same watch...one on steel and one on a nato. There's a third Seiko somewhere around here on a rubber dive strap.

have fun

i blame all the nice, informative, and helpful people in this hobby as my downfall. if only they were ruder or less pleasant to be around.

bunch of enablers.

"Does this watch look correct to you?"

"Yes! it's a bargain! buy it now! or look at these other watches which are at a comparable price!"

I blame point number 2, I love having a browse at threads and it is only then that my head occasionally gets turned!

The forums can be addictive in themselves. I stopped for a number of years, but,"Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!"

They're two very different watches. People gawk at daytonas but WISs swoon over the Lange. If you're at this juncture, I'd say go with the gold Panda. That itch needs to be scratched and buying the Lange will never make it go away.

Look at that face? How could you not love that face?

They certainly are! I, like you, went on a hiatus for awhile and it certainly worked but then I started to wonder where the watch world had ended up without me....
