I present you by inheritance of a relative my Day-Date 1803 of 1969. the clock was used very little, it is in an incredible state. It has the "Red Quarter" dial very rare, and it is a full set, it takes everything, a sealed guarantee, a chronometer certificate, an instruction book, etc. all original of the time.

also carries a complete set, dial, hands, calendars of golden color called "wideboy". I am happy with the clock and in the great state in which everything is.

Originally sold with the original alligator leather strap from Rolex, and with its 18k gold buckle, not plated.

These are the original date discs that I have from the "wideboy" set, the discs of the dates can be searched in other languages, the problem is that finding originals of the time is not easy.

This is the original buckle, with the seal of Rolex and 750 that indicates the 18k gold.

an image of the 60's' of the AD where the watch was bought, this AD still exists, which 10 years ago it no longer has the Rolex concession.

my uncle used it very little and was very meticulous with his belongings, I suppose he received some revision during these years, why the perfect clock is running and he changes hours just at 12:00 pm. I took it to a Rolex AD they opened it and they told me it was very good machinery.

Beautiful, almost too good to wear. Almost 😉

What’s the story with other spare gold dial?

my uncle when he went to buy it in 1970 he wanted it with the blank dial, but they only had one golden one, he bought it and in a few days the white dial and all of it came to the AD. the golden set had kept it in its bags from the first day. It is impeccable.

very nice. so the original wide boy dial was replaced?

i'd ask if the set was for sale, but given the family connection i doubt you're selling. enjoy in good health.
