So I’ve been going back and forth between these two watches for the last two months. I’m equally enjoying both of them. I wear the BBB when I know it’s going to be a rainy day etc. I also love the speedy on the leather for that dressy/casual look.

Do you guys have any daily wearers?

Nice duo. Why the bbb over a Planet Ocean?

I had the PO 8500 for a short time, but it was just a bit too clunky for me. I know the BBB is hefty as well, but I opted for the ETA version. It doesn't wear that bad actually. The PO is a beautiful timepiece though. I haven't seen the 39.5 mm version. Not sure if it wears better.

That BBB fits you perfectly. [emoji108] Your combo is similar to mine. My rotation is a Speedmaster Co-Axial Moonwatch Chrono and a Rolex GMT2 BLRO 16710. Quite a swing in size for me with the 44mm Omega, which wears large due to the sapphire display back, and the GMT2 at 40mm with no bulbous case. IMG_0025.JPG IMG_2301.JPG

Safe travels, what do you think of the in-house movement? I know it is a bit thicker than the ETA version. Do you notice the weight?

Beautiful combo, is that GMT have SEL? What Serial is out of curiosity?

It’s a P-serial dating the watch to 2000. Hollow end links.

I love these combinations! As it is, my typical rotation include my Speedmaster 3594.50 and my Seamaster 2254.50.

I haven’t tried on the ETA, but I don’t mind the bulk of the MT. The speedy feels delicate in comparison, making them a nice pair.

Are you guys really considering these "beater" watches?!

Here's my rotation. The closest thing to a "beater" for me is the Luminox. That being said, I have had to have 2 of these (the big Hamilton and the Moonwatch) rebuilt after dropping them, so I tend to baby my watches now.

That's the one I have. I think it wears extremely well. Slightly thinner than the regular-size PO, and works well if you don't have beefy wrists. Feels solid and well-balanced without being "chunky" or overstated. No buyer's remorse here. I have no idea how it compares to the Tudor BB though.

You make a great point, I don't consider any of my watches "beaters". Rather, I interpreted the OP's question to be, "Which watches in your rotation are your everyday wearers...?".

I have a few other watches in my rotation that don't get near the wrist time of others due to (real or perceived) preciousness ;).

Negative, sir...the fantabulous opposite of vacation...B-737 school in ATL. I only brought one watch [my beloved Seiko 6309-7049] to the Delta school house so I wouldn't be distracted from my studies by dorking with multiple watches. I picked my 6309 because it's my first dedicated "flying watch" that I purchased new at the NAS Whiting Field NEX in 1987 during primary training in the T-34C at VT-2...I figured it's been flying [and training] with me for 30 years so I had better have that watch for B-737 school.

LATE ENTRY: To make up for not dorking with multiple watches at B-737 school...I made the command decision to dork with multiple watch bands. :D

 Definitely not a good idea to play golf with either of those. I went into my AD wearing my SMPc and a golf club polo shirt and the guy actually said "I hope you don't play golf wearing that". (The watch, not the shirt.. ;)). Subsequent research confirmed that. On the other hand, any movement with the SI14 silicon hairspring is fine - far more resistant to shocks.

What are the dimensions of the 6309s? Are they on par with the SRPx series?

That doesn't make sense, it's supposed to be a professional dive watch...but you can't swing a golf club with it? If it's that fragile Omega should rebrand it as purely a dress watch. Not questioning what the dude told you...just hard to imagine a $4000 dive watch with a glass jaw. Hate to think I need to trade one of these for a Rolex Submariner.
