View attachment 139728 DSCF4415_800x600.JPG Hello everyone,

I'm not sure how to go about this, but I have had my Dad's old watch since he passed away some 40 odd years ago and never really looked at it 'til now.

I'm not really interested in its value, but I am more interested in drawing on the knowledge of those who might be able to give me a little history, as I really don't know whether my Dad inherited it or purchased it himself. He was born in 1932.

I will send a couple of photos of it when I work out how to upload photos to this forum!

There are NO markings on the back case, inside or out, and the crown wheel is worn to the point that it it difficult to wind up.

It still runs perfectly though, and keeps perfect time.

Thank you for your help, and thank you for the opportunity to share your, and my, fascination of timepieces and all things chronologically linked.

    John C. :)

Sorry but your watch is a common 1960s fake.

    Thank you.
I thought it was a fake but, of course, it was my father's, so it still has value, at least to me.

    Thank you again!
