Very nice, looks like it might need some longer alpha hands but the bezel looks mint and the case is pretty nice too

I love this watch, thank you for showing us.

As mentioned, I think the hands are from a seamaster - a common substitution I have noticed.

The pushers look slightly different than on many other 2998's I have seen - re they 4x3mm? What I am wondering is are they original examples? I know that the pushers I pull off some old 321's have a different construction than the modern service replacements.I have a feeling you might well have original pushers there !

These points are minor cosmetic issues - yours is a lovely watch

Here is a photo of some service replacement pushers to illustrate what I mean. The shape of the top of the cap is flatter and the metal is thicker.

Thanks for your reply Spacefruit , regarding the hands , they are the ones that had the watch when I bought it , you are right about the pushers , the measures are 4x3mm
    Rgds:thumbsup:

DEPORA is apparently an abbreviation for Departemen Olah Raga (Indonesian Ministry of Sports). Thought to commemorate a special occasion but unclear which one.

I don't think there is any watch that is more attractive, has a more interesting story or is as unpretentious as this Speedmaster you have shown us here.

It's clearly the greatest watch of all time. Not much more to say.
