Is that a question? The fact that it is in the 3rd edition now should tell you something about the usefulness of the book. Do a search on either of the past editions and read what people had to say about them. Pre-'70s Speedmasters typically start at $6k USD, and shoot skyward from there. If the book saves you from just one mistake it will have paid for itself many times over. Also, read here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/spe...-3rd-edition-book-review.105258/#post-1378534
Got mine a few days ago. From the tracking info it appears to have spent a lot of time in NY customs.
Mine stated that it was shipped on on 11/22/2019 per the watch print website. Per the tracking it says it was shipped on 11/16/2019. Arrived in the US on 11/27/2019 and has been in customs ever since. I wonder how long they need to clear a book through customs?
Mine had a similar path shipping 11/16 but arriving in US on 11/22 and sat in customs until 12/4. Hope yours arrives soon
Hope so too... But its already been a week longer than it sat for you in customs. I'll assume its the Thanksgiving Holidays that caused the delay!
I've talked to both authors and can acknowledge a " Seamaster Only " book is in-the-works. They also mentioned to focus solely on the Seamaster toolwatches ! . Edit: https://omegaforums.net/threads/seamaster-only-book-announcement.82966/
