Great to read this edition will have about 600 pages! Rumoured to be available in December so we can all put it under the Christmas tree or in New Year's gifts boxes & wishlists...
I'm in a little bit of a predicament, seems like I could pick up the 2nd edition for under the original retail price or should I wait for the 3rd edition to come out?
@Martin_F The upcoming third edition MWO hardcover book will be the most comprehensive & complete and contain all the recent Speedmaster chronograph editions ( SpeedyTuesday, Apollo 50th anniversary, etc... ). Truly the Speedmaster reference, it will have 600 pages... By the end of the year I will have all three, in fact bought both MWO 1 & 2 twice as I put one on display during lectures and these get handled a lot . . It would be great if the authors would make the respective changes and expansions of the new editions available digitally, e.g. as an eBook or as a PDF for free. Like the Ultimate Reviews. Thus, owners of Editions 1, 2, 3, ... could supplement their editions at least digitally and keep their content up to date.

Me too, I'll stick with my old signed copy for now. EDIT - Well, I'm sure I'll upgrade at some point, but the original one stays.
Well, with the second edition you would lose the newest LE's, but you would get the chapter "60 years of innovation" instead (which will not be featured in the 3rd edition).
I ended up ordering the 2nd Edition new for under 200 Euro. If and when they find out that the book is actually sold out, I'll try to get them to honor the prize I payed for the 3rd Edition. Worst case I got a deal on the older one.

As with MWO 2014 & MWO 2017, I will order two MWO 2019, one for the bookshelf and a reading-copie to bring out to lectures & meetings
I'm pretty sure both authors are on this forum and if they're reading this, I hope they will tease us on Instagram whenever this 3rd edition goes into print... I was really thrilled by seeing the Instagram photos of their Flightmaster Only book going into print...
