oh, oh, i'll take the middle one! nice kit. Wish I had a similar pic to share, but mine are all black.
PM sent... Seriously, what a tease. Please tell me about the ones on the three on the right side, they do not appear to be in the metal bezel ring?
Removed from bezels 15 years ago, replaced with brand new DNN Omega inserts and watches sold on, just ordinary common or garden 1969 Speedmasters. Such was the market in those days, no one was interested in old chipped bezel inserts, original or not. All I really wanted were the flat link bracelets at the time, similarly no one wanted old rattly, scratched bracelets.
anyone ever try one of these? http://www.ebay.ca/itm/BEZEL-INSERT...109789?hash=item27b9cf861d:g:bssAAOSw0OJXLmT4Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
One of mine looks pretty brown in natural light, but also gives off a bit of a silver/steel hue in there some how
My previous posts showing my faded bezel seem to have been deleted with no explanation so I will post again for those who found it interesting. Starting out with a modern bezel...and going through a brownish colour to ghost grey. As there was very little value in the bezel I was happy to experiment. All with household bleach.
yes ghost hands haha This is a project that I'm working on, just trying to decide what hands to go with the dial. Actually have a set of dark grey hands which would complete that ghost look - I'd never be able to tell the time though
