    Not in the slightest. It's one thing to own something from a great person, who made the world a better place in some way. Owning this for me would just be an on-going reminder of the evil elements that need to be addressed on a persisting basis.

    There was an episode of Justified that centered around the sale of some of Hitler's paintings.

    I especially liked the reason why they were being purchased that came up at the end of the episode. I don't really feel that purchasing Al Capone's watch rises to the same level TBH. It doesn't interest me personally, but wouldn't be any different than buying Pancho Villa's hat, or something like that.

    Maybe Tony Soprano bought it. :)

    I bid on one of Cole Younger's pistols, complete with notches in the grips. I always like the .45 Long Colts. At one point in the auction there was a question of authentication so I dropped out. Otherwise I'd have bought it and taken it to the range for regular shooting. Of course I'd have used underpowered hand loads. But I'd have shot it and not just looked at it.
