·Bought this waffle dial Seamaster a few months ago for a song from a fellow OF member @trash_gordon.
She's nothing to write home about but spent more wrist time than I thought and I'm starting to get attached to the old girl and starting to think she needs a little TLC.
Looking to treat her to a new strap - I'm thinking a nice Ostrich number to complement the cream waffles.
Canvassing opinions on what to do next - she keeps great time but comes with the slightly disconcerting loose feel of a bumper movement and so think service is on the cards.
She's got quite the dirty face and has received what looks like quite a heavy handed relume in the past.
I'm wondering what might be done to improve the dial - or should it just be left untouched - I assume these waffle numbers are quite delicate.
