Movado Calatrava Redial?

Hi OF people,

I would like to seek some opinion from the forum about a Movado Calatrava I found on ebay.

I am not sure if the dial is a redial but I suspect it might be so I'm just putting this out there so get some opinion.

The "Movado" font looks ok to me. but the outer track printing is very inconsistent to me. Also, I have not seen Movado watches from the 40-50s with "Swiss" signed as they are usually Switzerland or "swiss made".

Any information would be very helpful 馃榾

Looks like a redial to me even though I'm no expert on Movado. The quality of the logo, sub dial and indices all looks very inconsistent and not something I would expect from Movado from this era which usually holds very high quality.

Yes, redial. Among other issues, the top of the peaks on the "M" were typically not sharp.
