Is there a way to upload short (2mb) .mov files to the forum? I tried, without luck, so maybe I am doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated.
Convert to a GIF? There are online converters but I have never used them, this example was converted with video editing tools on this laptop. Edit to add: the result is going to be a lot larger than 2Mb however, I would expect a MOV file to store a lot more efficiently than GIF which is actually a series of independent static pictures.
That would be pretty clunky I think--and like you say a big file. People have managed to embed Youtube links without a problem--it's easy enough to upload to Youtube, but I don't like putting my stuff there--or on any hosting site--and prefer direct uploads. I'll keep at it. I need to ask one of my students. Those kids know everything.
