End of an era for me.
After nearly 63 years of riding it's time to hang up the saddle.
Bike was sold today 馃槥.

Lots of great memories though.

Buy yourself a classic - more about the ownership than the riding.

@JimInOz I can relate - when I gave up my last bike it felt like part of me was gone for ever. It was a BMW too. Now I have to vicariously ride through my two sons, who send me GoPro videos of their high speed country trips through New South Wales and Tasmania. I still miss it.

Commiserations Jim, it must be hard. I've found that lately I don't ride much if it's cold. I used to ride year round with the bike as my main mode of transport, but winter's out now. We're still doing the long haul trips and I look forward to them and an annual week with the boys around the Victorian and New South Wales high country, but I find coming home to the cold difficult.

Big decision.

After work ride to a chapel by a lake. .

There used to live people on the shores, making some sort of a living. They did farm work on bigger farms, hunted, fished and had a goat or a pig. The chapel was buildt so they didnt have to walk for half a day to get to church.
A friend of my mother was born in a cabin on the other side. He lost his father at a young age and had to leave school early to support his mother. He went whaling at 14. He later started work at the factory in town, learned fibreglass work and started a boat yard. After retiering he moved back to this place and trecked the woods to the end. Sorry for the rambling.

Ever on the lookout for that dream bike chanced across a couple good vids that have swayed me onto the Triumph Rocket R3.

The supercharged 340 BHP version

And of course how it was created

Recently lost my dog, so have decided to make the most of a shitty situation and do some touring. Hoping to get over to France later this year.

My normal ride is 2002 Fat Boy, but I recently finished rebuilding this old guy. 90cc isn鈥檛 big by today鈥檚 standards but these machines paved the way for a lot of others that followed. It鈥檚 has a solid 7 hp, but you can鈥檛 ride it and not smile.

1968 Honda CT 90

Been quiet on here for a while.
KLX250 with a 351cc kit fitted.
Tracer 9GT.
ZX12R A1 project bike. The last of the hyperbikes before the Europeans spoiled the fun and the Japanese manufactures had to implement a "Gentleman's Agreement" to limit bikes to 186mph / 300kph.
