If we're talking vintage Omega, these are two that are my favorites:

Both bumper chronometers - a '46 Centenary reference 2500 and a '54 Constellation reference 2799. Got one or two other gold dialed Omegas that are kinda nice too.

If we expand to all brands, then this '60 Conquest reference 9025 is the centerpiece of my Longines automatic collection:

    It's closely followed by a date-at-12 18ct pink gold Flagship and an 18ct Ultra-Chron.

I was able to grab this 2499, so I have one of my grails.

    I would also love to add a 30T2RG, 2500, 2517 and a 2699/2799 one day.

No grails for me. I just have a wishlist and I prioritize them differently if they pop up for sale at the same time. Those above are definitely in the wishlist for vintage Omegas.

Omega only ? or all Grails?? due to the recent constellation outbreak here, my 2 early ones. steel/pinkgold capped and steel with a black high gloss dial with white gold markers and white gold hands; factory restored with the original stretch band. there are a few others and the incoming luxe in 18 carat with gold mesh and silver box. kind regards. achim

Grails aren't my thing either, just a list of targets that I am a bit fussy about. But if there is a watch I would call a grail it would be this JLC duoface.

It was produced for a couple of years only & was only available in white gold. Whether I put on my hit list depends on whether I can be sure it will fit me properly - or the cost of wrist surgery :)

if you buy the JLC in the biggest case version, it`s fine. it is a very nice watch; try to get a used one for 50-60% of retail. good taste ! kind regards. achim

I spent a very long time finding a 2913-1. I would have accepted one in any condition given the rarity of the model, but was lucky to find this absolute beauty from 1957.

Nice one! Is the bezel original too? Hard to tell from the picture.

    Thanks for the positive comments!

Yes I'm fairly certain the bezel is original. I'm not an expert on telling the difference but it was in fairly messy condition when I got it. I spent a long time very carefully polishing the bezel with peek and while it still has a few scratches it looks pretty good. I replaced the crystal while I was at it, but that's it.
Infact I believe it is one of the first 200 made as the back has the 'certified high pressure waterproof' engraving around the edge of the case back on the sloping part (like the 2915-1 Speedmaster) while most you see have it on the flat part of the case back, around the Seahorse.
