Of course I am trawling the auctions now that I got bumpers on the brain- thanks to another thread.

I'm getting better at spotting the obvious redials and fakes, but still trying to get the nuances of ones that were either done long ago and show patina over a redial, or ones that were really well done and I can't tell. Yes, they are crappy eBay pics, but I have seen the masses here work their sleuthing magic with less.

So, first up- This one looks good to me. Case is polished of course but not to a blob, dial looks great, script looks good, hanger S is spot on, second track looks perfect with the 36 min mark over the W in "Swiss" as I've seen on other known originals. I can't tell if the hands are lumed or not and I only see the single lume plot next to the date window...but the cyclops is magnifying that so perhaps they are there on the other indices and just hard to see.

Anyone see anything on this that screams stay-away?

Next up is another bumper, looks decent to me, genuine patina that nobody has tried to hide, dial has the spongy lume as I've seen before on other Omega's of this era, if it's not original then it's gotta be a really old redial. Again, case has been polished during its life but is still looks pretty sharp, all looks correct- BUT, I can't find this dial in any other online pics for this reference so that has me scratching my head.

Well the calendar isn't a bumper.

The second just isn't in great shape - the stuff between 11 and 12 would bother me a lot.
But if you like it go for it!

Oh- whoops, the first one isn't- that aside, does it look legit? Would love a calendar too.
