I will add some more of these as I get time to process them. The lighting in the Museum is inconsistent and not always a good color temperature for auto white balance. The "Man", Louis Brandt . View attachment 66694 I have not edited out some out of focus shots as some may still find them interesting
Needless to say the Omega employees all sport the latest, that includes the nice folks in the company cafeteria, where the wife and ate lunch. GMTs and Bumble bees abound. I would like the add that you will not find a more gracious and accommodating group of people then those at the Museum and Omega in general. All visitors are treated as special guests. The wife and I are most appreciative and offer great thanks for our treatment to any of the Omege folks reading this.
Last time I saw Petros he was rocking a blue Goodplanet Planet Ocean GMT, I'd expected he'd be more a vintage Constellation guy but even he goes modern from time to time.
Any new exhibits in 2014 ? I'd noticed a few changes between 2012 and 2013, notably the ceramics, 36000 and Co-Axial displays in the room on the right after the main entrance.
I was not at the Museum in 2012-13, so I could not tell you what has changed during that time, but you are quite correct. The Museum has over 7000 items in the collection and they are changing and updating exhibits on a regular basis. Also as corrections are uncovered and new information is discovered these too affect presentation and the direction of the Museum. It is Omega's aim that the Museum is not to be a static institution but an educational representation of the past, present and future of Omega and Horology.
