    Hello Everyone,
I'm new to these forums. I've been collecting watches for a few years now and love finding vintage Omegas.
I currently have 2 vintage watches I'm having some unanswered questions about.
I have used google as best as possible but I am not finding any watches even similar to either of mine. I believe both watches do not fall under a "series" such as constellation or seamaster.

The first one is a 18k rose gold pie pan dial, tropic/petina. It has a caliber 420 mechanical movement with arrow markers.
    Numbers on case back
    171483
    2833
    2834
    - All of my research is pointing to a 18k no series 1957 Omega.
Any other cool details or am I missing something?
Is it possibly a Constellation that has lost its insignia on the dial?

    Watch #2
It is 14k yellow and stamped d&a caliber 361 mechanical movement.
Numbers inside the case back are
    B6535
    48660
This watch has a sub second hand and some Art Deco/breguet style numbers
It also has the most crazy lugs I've ever seen.
I also believe this is a no series or cosmic Omega.
So far I believe it is a 1949 Cosmic Omega?
    Does this look original?

It would be most helpful if you would provide photos of the movement and inside of the case back..

The first one is, as you say, a no-name dress watch. The ref. is either 2833 or 2834 - the case will have been used for both. One is probably a center seconds, the other a sub-second, but that is only my guess.

The other is a no-name, non-Swiss reference. Cases with crazy lugs often are ;)

EDIT: I'm guessing no. two is American.

What do you mean by case with crazy lugs are often ;) Is that undesired/bad? Two is American? As far as the case is American?

The case (I guess - they are not really that common here, so am not an expert) looks to be American produced, looking at the reference no. which isn't one used by Swiss made Omega cases. The movement also looks to be an exported one, as it says "unadjusted" and has "OXG" on it too.

US made cases aren't that uncommon and they often feature pretty unusual lug designs. More flamboyant. They are considered less desirable than the Swiss made ones, in general.
