    Hello,

I just joined the forum and I don't know a lot about omega watches. I am looking to purchase this 1953 Omega Seamaster from a local seller. I am trying to find more information about the watch online however I am not able to find any. According to the seller it is a 1953 Seamaster. Added below are pictures of the item. I would greatly appreciate any information you can provide and if possible also let me know if the item is genuine. Thank you very much

Agreed. Check out the sales forum here. If you see something you like, PM the seller.

By other members who have taken the time to learn about Omegas rather than waking up this morning and thinking "I think I'll buy a vintage Omega today".

Yea, a quick Google of the 351 movement indicates that it isn't a Seamaster

How so? There were Seamaster models with the 351. The 2577 for one.

But I agree that this one is a redial and pretty nasty.
