have to say, i like their newest offering that's a cross between pp and ap. sizing looks nice, design is there. don't like the price at all @ 49 hundo msrp. wonder if we can we expect this new in the 35 range in a year.

does look a lil blingy for me, and i cant say i like the date or the polish/brush everywhere

seems like the brand is moving away from their 46 milly's and replaced it completely with their br3 / 42x42 square. their new ceramic squares are tight as well.....maddog has to have one of these

seems like this brand might be moving on up

You forgot to mention Chopard.
Steel portholes must be having their second coming in fashion world.

Integrated bracelet is a fail.

They are my number one NO NO on a watch.
Funny as Bell & Ross and Bremont are my number 2 NO NO s 😜

the integrated bracelet is usually a turn off for me as well. it doesn't look nearly as nice on their rubber. i could live with it, being i don't have many dress sport watches and would prolly never take it off the bracelet.

that said,..even if you could get one new @ 3500 that's still pretty expensive and doesn't provide a strong value to the equation

I like the look of this Bellytanker (BR V2-94) in bronze with the black dial, but couldn't get over that it's a B&R...at $5k also.

https://www.revolution.watch/the-spirit-of-motor-racing-br-v2-94-bellytanker-bronze/

those belly tanker sub dials look a little large to me.

also,...you would think ross would make at least a few watches without a date. seems like there aren't many and most are 46mm when they did.

Looks like they couldn't make them any bigger for sure and the bright contrast makes them look even bigger. But it does improve utility in any low visibility setting.

Looks like it was designed by a committee. Meh comes to mind, nothing to distinguish it from all the other bland steel watches.

A watch who's dial doesn't 'fill the screen' drives me nuts.

Better, IMHO, than a watch whose movement is too small and cuts off features of the dial.

Isn't B&R associated with Sinn?

What is the point of this watch exactly? The movement is a gussied up Sellita SW 300 - a $279 movement retail and less wholesale. When first seeing the watch - blue dial variant - the only thing I thought was well they did get the bezel screws to align. The $4900 retail price tag is laughable, expect to see it discounted heavily online once inventory gets out. What a complete waste of steel and effort IMO.

i thin i will start calling these bellytanker chronos, the bell & ross owl eyes....the date ruins it for me as well.

seems like the whole design team comes up with great designs and the last thing they tackle is where they're going to put the date, as i can hear them saying, it's a must have. 🙁

as for the br5 i hope they make tonz of them and not many like them. .

$3500 is 30% off. it might take 2 years to hit that number. if it's even hit at all

SS watches, with blue dials, on bracelets.... there's been an epidemic of them of late.
