I'm more of a lurker on OF, but I figured I'd share some pics of my new arrival. I know this LE isn't universally popular due to the ck2998 designation, but I think folks should still see it in person. It's a beautiful dial with a great shade of blue!
Great pictures, especially the lume shot. Congrats! Can't wait to pick mine up! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Congrats, waiting for my number to come up as well. If you don't mind, can you let me know what number you got. the highest number i've seen so far is 750, waiting to get to 2000 before i get excited that mine will be here soon.
There is little, if anything not to like about that watch. I have yet to see one in person but even in photos it's very, very attractive. Congratulations, and I wish you many years of happy, healthy wearing!
That lume shot is MONEY!!! how do you take a picture like that? (seriously, please tell me how) when I first got mine, I was very wishy-washy on this. it's took a while but I have grown to absolutely love it. it has now become my daily wear. for a while, I was regretting I got this rather than Sedna gold FOIS or a Rollie. definitely no regret now. just stunning, understated elegance.
Those are some of the nicest pics I've seen yet! Tried getting one through OB here. No luck as I came asking much too late. I asked how many they were allocated but they wouldn't give me any indication at all as to how many they received. Standard practice I suppose on LE's?
Thanks everyone! For the pictures, here's the info: Camera: Olympus OM-D E-M10 Lens: Olympus 60mm f2.8 macro Aperture between f/2.8 and f/4 Shutter speed: 1/15 to 1/40 secs ISO: 1000-2000 Auto WB. Photos taken hand-held in natural lighting. Edited in Lightroom on iphone The lume-pic was taken at night with fluorescent room lighting, charged the lume with iphone flash.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is the CK2998 designation relating to. I like the watch, but don't know the history... Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
CK was the old Omega designation for steel watches. 2998(-1, -2, etc) were model references to the second gen Speedmaster models with straight lugs and alpha/leaf hands, all cal 321 and pre-pro, pre-moon. Edit: @ck1109, nice to see you here. See you at Red Bar tomorrow night? [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
