Picked up my copy this week (and met one of the writers) and I think a new standard has been set for watch books. Very impressive and worth every penney

Hello,

Just a small message to inform you that on Sunday 22, from 2PM my co-author and myself will be on Baselworld bookshop (watchprint.com, hall 2) to sign copies of the Moonwatch Only and have the pleasure to discuss about the same passion.

Thnanks for the updating.
Concerning The hands for 2915-3 to my opinion there is still missing a variation 2 b) only showing up on the 2915-3 and the 2998-1 which has a slightly longer hour hand, making it hard to distinguish from the minute hand. Probably this is the reason why Omega (I mean Lemania 馃榿) switched quickly to the shorter more common hour hand.
On the right an example of this long hand.

and here:

Dear Achim,

thank you for your message.

We will see what we can do, but we have to keep in mind not to be too restrictive (which should not be in this case)... I must admit that we did not have enough time to seriously investigate this point...

yes, in my opinion too. Maybe even the only legitimate hands beside the broad arrow on a 2915-3 (on both adverts the watches seem to be 2915-3's due to the dial features)

That麓s exactly what we would like to avoid...we prefer to be too permissive instead of too restrictive.

Let me some time and we will come back to you... Thank you for your collaboration.

Wow, I didn't know this but from a design perspective this seems a bit 'silly' (not to offend and for lack of a better word) that Omega made a conscious decision to make an hour hand very similarly sized to the minute hand. If you only want to take a quick glance at the time, you can get easily confused...馃槙
Thanks for sharing!

This is a great addition to an unbelievable book. Thanks.

May I suggest you consider formatting your website to a smaller resolution. The current size is too large for most screens. The recommended size is typically Optimise for 1024脳768

thanks for the updates.

Wasn't the long hour hand also mentioned in AJTT? My 2915-3 has the same hand as well. Like the others I believe that this is the only one originally installed. At least I would be very leery of one with a "shorty'.

Thanks for the updates. (And I'll echo that the formatting doesn't print well, especially the light text.)

The booklet scan above reminded me that I wanted to mention a variation. The book mentions a blue leaflet with a 2915 pictured and the yellow version with a 2998. Mine is yellow with a 2915.

I imagine there could be lots of variations, languages, etc., but the book mentions sparse information on these so I thought I'd post.

Cool! It Must be a -1 with the dial and the bezel. One of the best close up pictures I have Seen from the 2915.
