[Moonwatch] Bracelet question/issue (neurotic)

Just picked up the new Moonwatch and am very happy. The bracelet has the new micro-adjustment lever. The bracelet fit is my issue.

I guess my question boils down to whether the adjustment is really 1/2 link or is that just a ballpark? I have the watch on right now and am happy with the fit (adjustment in the “smaller” setting), though it felt a bit loose earlier - but of course I couldn’t make it smaller, which I wanted to do.
My thought is to take a link out and wear out in the “larger” setting. Here’s the question: Would that change put me 1/2 link tighter than now? Or 1/4 or 3/4?

Trying to get this straight in my head because it’s a hassle to get to a jeweler and I never know when my wrist is larger/smaller. (Perhaps paying attention over a few days will tell me what times it tends to be which. Is there a rule of thumb on this?)

I think you should wear it a few days and see how the fit changes throughout the day. With a high quality screwdriver, properly Sized screwdriver you could remove half link yourself if you find it necessary.

Agree with the above post. If it’s new, you’re still getting used to it, and in the beginning there may not be any optimal setting. Spend at least a week or two on it

Congrats on the purchase! Definitely give yourself some time with it to learn how the fit best suits you. If it's winter where you are, get it comfy on the smaller setting, knowing that in summer it'll probably fit okay on the larger setting.

Sidebar #1: Nato strap + Speedy Pro + Summer = Awesome. YMMV.

Sidebar #2: Once you've worn it a while and you're out of babying-it-mode, the fear factor of bracelet resizing will probably become a non-issue. It's honestly easy-peasy, but get the right tools, when you're ready to DIY it.
