Hi all, I am hoping to get confirmation about the measurements of the Alligator strap for the Speedy Pro. I have a 3570.50 and the strap I believe is 98000008. I'm looking to get a custom strap made and need the measurements. 20/16 for lug and buckle, and 100/100 for length. Is this correct?

Those are correct dimensions for the 98000008 strap...

 

So this is the correct strap for this watch? Also making sure the buckle is 16mm? Or is it 18mm?

 

It's one of them. The 98000245 replaced it in 20/18.

So what strap came on the 3870? I'd like to keep the dimensions correct. Im getting some conflictin info as to if it should be 18mm or 16mm. I trust Archer's info for the strap I listed. However do I have the correct strap number for my watch?

 

Depends on when it was made. As far as I know for the official Moon Watch, it came on a double-ridged croc 20/16 in the 80s and 90s, then the flat croc 20/16, and then the flat croc 20/18. I believe it still is available on the black croc 20/18 though probably something newer than the 98000245. I honestly don't recall if the double ridge was deployant.

 

Why not measure the buckle end to see if it's 16mm or 18mm? It's probably 16mm but it is easy enough to measure to make sure.

Oh that's definitely the 98000245 with the 18mm deployant.

 

A number of OEM Omega straps will fit your watch. Your watch is 20mm at the lugs, so pick the leather you like with the taper you want. If you already have a deployant or buckle, measure it. Good luck.
