Wouldn't be my choice over the original gold bracelet, but it's your watch. To me it's too casual and tooly for such an elegant watch.
First that’s not a NATO. That’s a parachute strap or something like that. Gold non dive watches normally demand a classy strap like croc, but of all the dress down choices it would be in my top 2. A perlon in the right color could works as well.
Wanted the option to dress it down abit. Love the bracelet but also wanted something not so flashy that could even be worn in short and t shirt without attracting too much attention

A pontifical excerpt: the only downside with this watch is it’s lack of strap options...nothing (that I have seen yet!) in any other color than burgundy looks good on it...also not many around and not many folks experimenting, so not much inspiration. But then on the bracelet it’s pure perfection, so no reason to complain...
Yup I like it. I won’t make excuses like mentioning I’m a watch simpleton but I certainly think it’s a wearable look. I think it serves your purpose of making it less flashy
I hate to admit it, but I would feel way more comfortable wearing that on the nato vs. the bracelet. Looks good to me
Personally, I'd go with a tan coloured strap with maybe a red stitch that matches the bezel but .. ..it's your watch so enjoy it as you wish. Don't bother about my opinion. ..
Looks great! I think it would work really nice with a grey nato or leather strap. look at this grey as an example
