The movement is the Cal.9914, manual winding chronograph with moonphase. It is a derivative of the Cal.9904 which is the self-winding chronograph with moonphase currently on sale since 2016. Though, like the other manual versions of the Cal.9900 movement, it could fit into a watch with a diameter of less than 44.25mm, such as the 43mm Chronoscope or the 40.5mm Speedmaster’57 it is too thick to fit into the 42mm Moonwatch case. Given the need for at least some legibility for the date function, required to ensure the moonphase can be set accurately and listed as one of the Cal.9914 functions, my guess is it will be in a 43mm case. The details of the Cal.9914 have been available on the Operating Instructions section of the Omega website for about 5 months.

It is intriguing, but given to Omega price policy.. Meterite dial, moon phase and “probably non-steel” case.. the MSRP will be in to the sky 😀

But cannot wait to see the full version. Collie wise the traser looks just great and smth omega does not have in the current catalogue.

Placing the moonphase indicator close to the minute and seconds markers on the bottom of the dial, and moving -swiss- and -made- to the side of the indicator, tells me the watch could be smaller than a 44mm. A manual wound movement would make it thinner than the current automatic moonphases at 16.9mm.
At 44,25mm and 16,9mm thickness, everybody would discard this as a brick, but it looks promising right now.

Interesting:
Firefly Aerospace's Blue Ghost lunar lander is now scheduled to launch to the moon at 1:11 a.m. EST (0611 GMT) on Wednesday, Jan. 15, taking off from Launch Complex 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The mission, known as "Ghost Riders in the Sky," will see Blue Ghost will ride to space aboard SpaceX's workhorse Falcon 9 rocket.

There are 2 variants: grey meteorite blue bezel, blue subdial and an all black one with a black pvd meteorite dial. 43 mm moonphase and date manual wind 9914 movement both steel cases and jubilee style bracelets

No smaller than 14mm and the price is $17,100.00
Thanks for the insights! I assume that $17k pricetag is USD (or nearly $28k for the Aussies on this forum). If so, that's higher than precious metal IWC/Breitling and wild pricing for a steel speedy, but let's hope that I'm missing something.

If all true there are better options for that kind of money. This will be a 'meh' release for the Speedmaster community, but it's another example of Omega moving upstream.

what irritates me is that the N and the S are two different fonts: one bold, one light. And the S is vertically centered in the white space, whereas the N is sticking to the upper border - that's strange... 🤷‍♂️

It looks like light scatter when viewed through an atmosphere (as we do). The 'N' looks like a cutout with illumination behind it and the 'S' looks like a silhouette with illumination behind, as well. It looks awesome like that and I'm glad you pointed it out. That's a very acute detail.
