Dear forumers, i read a lot this forum and now I decided to sign up taking advantage of a question I have to ask. Unfortunately in my area I have no chance to see live a Moon Phase ref.3576.5000. So I observed video and photo on the web and i noticed that the Moonwatch Moon Phase (that's comes only with sapphire) don't exhibits the "milky ring" effect typical of sapphire Moonwatch. So, I ask those who possess it: is the milky ring effect present on the ref 3576.5000?
    Thanks.

The milky ring effect is an internet myth perpetuated by hesalite fanboys.
    It doesn't really exist.

I keep cookies in my pocket every single time I wear a Speedy with a sapphire crystal and have yet to complete the combo.

I've owned a 3576.50 - fantastic watch. I've also owned literally dozens of other Speedmaster models - both Sapphire crystal and hesalite crystal models... The sapphire crystal is still my personal favourite material and I've never noticed any ring around the dial when wearing.

That being said, if you're unsure you should always check one out in person - every individual's taste is different (and valid!).

Interesting - looking at them myself I can not pick out a single detail that isn't the same in the other picture. Shadows are identical, shading, etc. Look at the dark spot on the edge of the crystal between 130 and 140. And the lighter shading on the edge between 110 and 130. Completely identical. Shadow angles and patterns on the lugs are exactly the same as well.

Why are you looking at the Omega Photoshopped pictures?
