·Moeris chronograph with beautiful gilt gloss dial, gold hands, gold applied markers and gilt script, housed in a 36/37 mm stainless steel case. Not many of these out there - believed to be circa 1950s. Pics taken indoors and outdoors to show condition in both lights.
· Brand: Moeris was a Swiss company established in 1893 in Saint-Imier. The company was considered a higher mid-range brand. The company was purchased by Tissot sometime after 1977.
· Dial: excellent condition black gilt gloss dial with gold applied Arabic numerals, gilt script, gold leaf hands
· Case: good condition stainless steel case with surface wear is approx. 37mm without crown (shown next to 40mm Sub for comparrison), 20mm high quality Bas & Lokes leather strap, stamped 74364 on outer case back, crown is likely a replacement, acrylic crystal has wear
· Movement: Valjoux 22, signed Moeris (pic from prior owner)
· Functions: watch works as it should, top pusher starts and stops the large seconds hand, the bottom pusher snaps the large seconds hand back to the 12 position, winds fine, I recently timed it over a 5 hour period and it keeps good time.
