Hi, my first post and I'm after a little help please
i bought a job lot of omega watches that i've mananged to get back into service
there was a ladies watch among them, a longines le grande classique L4 209.( it has a geniune look to it..?) with an eta movement
my wife love the look of it so i'm under pressure to get it into service.
The watch has previously been apart and the hands badly refitted, my plan it to fit a new movement if it needed, which appears easily obtainable
can anyone guide me on removing the movement and getting access to the dial, i dont want to force anything.

    thanks in advance
    steve

I learnt from my father early
If you want a pipe fixed get a plumber
If you want the power fixed get a electrician
If you want your car fixed get a mechanic
If you want a cow cut up get a butcher (old man was a butcher and always threw this one in)
If you want watch fixed get a watchmaker.:D

    thanks for your kind reply..

for many people that is so true, and I know it can be much more sensible in the long run...
unfortunately i like to give myself a challenge..?.

i was hoping for a liitle support before I risk the compressor ?

    thanks
    Steve
