Please enlighten on the topic that which modern omega watch are (possibly/potentially/already) collectible?

I assume most but not all modern watches of (any brand) are not collectible. (what??)
Some of the the old ones (not necessarily vintage?, just old) are not collectible either, i guess.

regards

It is so personal that we all will have different opinions. To me perhaps ST 1 and 2 are collectibles along with 60th Anniversary trilogy in modern iteration.

Luckily very few are hyped like other brands meaning that access to all models is relatively easy. Some are more desirable, particularly a few Speedmaster editions. For me, my last year tritium Speedmaster is the perfect blend of vintage and modern and will always be desirable. Wear what you really like.

I suspect by “collectible” you really mean “which one will increase in value so I can make a huge profit in the future.”

It’s sad that collecting has become more about making money than enjoying the collection for what it is. In the original since of “collectible” ANY watch is collectible if you enjoy owning it.

Yeah, I so wish we could have an entertaining discussion about this without the spectre of capital appreciation (good luck...) hanging over it. I guess you have to decide what it is you want to "collect". For some it's e.g."every type of Speedy ever made", for others it's about modern classics, and you have to get into the mind of people 50 years from now. Personally, I think the latter will feel that Omega took a snooze until C21, then came roaring back with the co-axial (with all its pros and cons), ceramic cases, laser etching, good aesthetics, and great associations. For instance, I don't have one, but I think my grandkids' kids will find Apollo 8 interesting. If you just want to make a buck, go for gold, LEs, cartoon dogs, and so on. YMMV!

It's not sad it's stupid that people look to buy what other people want instead of what they themselves want.

Firstly remember one of the 10 commandments of WISdom , do no to covet another mans watch or sumfin like that . Just look at as many watches you like & pick one , if it happens to be an Omega more power to you . Remember It’s easier to pass a elephant through a pinhole than to expect seasoned Omega pros to tell you what Omega to invest your money in . Good luck hunting .

2020 tokyo speedmasters specifically with the panda variants - white dial and the blue dial. They already are appreciating.

People “collect” all sorts of things. “Collectible” means it can be collected. You could collect trash if you wanted. This topic is a thinly veiled value discussion.

It’s surprising how many people DO collect trash. My neighbor picks up stuff left by the trash can in the alley (old chairs, metal stands, lumber scraps, etc) and stores them in his backyard. I assume he thinks he may be able to use them sometime in the future, but it’s essentially a trash collection.

Exactly.
My collection includes a few casio g shock squares and analog-digitals from 1980's, which many watch collectors may consider trash.

Can't comment on the blue one but think the panda has appreciated and offers less opportunity. The Rising Sun is still well priced but the has increased in just the last couple of months. If capital appreciation is what the OP is after, that is the one they should choose.

Everything is collectible…so get what you want.

if you want to invest and make money, if we knew we would not be on this forum. Even if we did why would we share our hard earned knowledge and make it harder for ourselves to make money?

Swatches are very collectible. I know a couple of the ones that I own from the 80s are worth a couple hundred bucks.
Apparently the omega albino has quadrupled or more in value. Good luck finding one though at a reasonable price.
Non modified 6309 seikos are hard to find and are becoming very hard to find and collectible…
