Great “little” watch at 39mm - Congratulations!
I’ve got the color-riot dial version and wear it often.
Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment inside.
Caliber 1151 movement based on ETA 7751 multi-functional workhorse.

Don’t set the date info when hour hand is between 8p and 2a to avoid gear interference.
Love this description

Count me in the “was planning to buy a colorful MK40, waited and now hate the price” camp. Great watches. I really do love that there’s a Speedy Pro, and then there are pretty much an infinite amount of Speedies that are variations on a theme. I love me some Rolex just as well, but other than bezel color -- it’s all the same watch…. Speedies on the other hand (and MK40 is the perfect example) just have some creativity, fun, and VARIETY!

Wear in good health 👍

I really like the Mk40, especially this reference with the silver dial and moon shaped date pointer. Some have screw back cases and 100m WR.

I think the bezel looks much better than the one on the pro.
