Has the mk 4.5 been refinished ?

the case looks sharp and the brushed finish looks good?

dont thinks it been refinished as there are small marks everywhere. Still has the original lapping on the case

Most of the mk 4.5 i,ve seen, and indeed my own one, seem to have a green coloured seal ( sealant) between the crystal and the bezel - thats why I asked if its been refinished at somewhere like STS or Omega themselves

dont have a picture of mine right now as travelling abroad, but I,m sure Chucks site has a few examples

Yeah, it's sort of an off- white coloured seal/gasket. It's on it's second glass. I have the original, which was heavily marked.

Mine has the same colored gasket as the OP. Were they yellow on the original watches?

When I order crystal gaskets from Omega, I am often replacing a grey seal with a green one. Many of the newer seals seem to be green. The exception seems to the case back crystal gaskets - they tend to be grey for some reason...
