Simpleton question - I was looking around the net for the Apollo 17 Patch watch 3597.20, and I can't find any net data on the watch, no sales...ever. Is this going to be an impossible watch to find? Apollo 17 of 1972 happens to be my birth-year, so it could be a cool representative of the year 1972.. just curious

Otherwise I will go to my other choice, 1972 Seamaster 120 "Deep Blue"... also impossible to find :)

There were only a small number made, so they aren't commonly available.

Mission patch watches do come up for sale & most don't seem to command high prices - it's just a question of setting your net & waiting for as long as it takes :coffee:

I saw one for sale a year ago. No longer. As for the Deep Blue you will probably seen that come up more often as the one you are referencing is limited to around 150-200

George, I guess I will just HAVE to keep it on the list now.. nothing more exciting than the hard to get affordable grail :)

I will keep my eyes out for the deep blue in the meantime..
