the day date trim on my 751 Constellation dial is missing, does anyone know if this is a replaceable item or a matter of trawling through the net for a 2nd hand replacement

 

I think the only way you will find that is with the complete dial.

I bought a 751 Connie and had exactly the same issue - in real life the dots for the trim pegs are so small I didn't notice until I got it home. I wound up picking up an identical model to use as a donor for the dial trim and it wound up being in better nick than the first so guess which one I still own.... I suspect your best option is to learn to love it or move it on.
