·So many watches and opportunities to buy here at Minutes + Hours Watch Show.
I had no intention of making a purchase this trip but one watch stood out above all others for me. The Mount West.

This is a very serious quality build and includes a unique dual bezel that is in fact patent pending. This dual operating bezel consist of an inner bezel that rotates when turning the bezel counterclockwise and an outer bezel that rotates when turning the bezel clockwise. This affords the operator a multitude of additional functionality (see pics). Truly ingenious! Mind boggling that this had not yet been thought of/executed in hundreds of years of watch making.
I was able to talk at length with the founder Drew Zayach about this amazing watch and his company as well as many subjects regarding the watch industry. Drew’s enthusiasm and knowledge are contagious and he’s one of the kindest and sincerest individuals you would want to meet.In
the days ahead I will post my additional thoughts and impressions about this watch. It’s not cheap but it’s not exactly expensive though it is absolutely built with the highest level of craftsmanship and quality.
