This slim stainless steel 1966 Omega classic dress watch is in near perfect condition

This elegant watch is signed 5 times and it’s dial is original.

The case is near mint stainless steel with a fabulous beveled edge, elegant down-turned lugs, brushed and polished back and signed crown. 25.6-mm wide not including the signed crown x 33.8-mm from lug tip to lug tip.

It boasts an immaculate 17-jewel cal 620 two (2) adjustment hand wind movement which winds, sets and runs smoothly and is keeping good time having been fully serviced cleaned, oiled and adjusted. These cal 620 movements were a wonder of minituarisation for their time. Serial No. indicates a production date of 1966.

The dial is a striking original brushed nickel finish with applied faceted bar markers and applied Omega symbol. Simple and elegant.

This spectacular omega is signed five times on the case, crown, crystal, dial, and movement and is comes with a new 20-mm regular length black leather strap and nice clean original signed omega acrylic crystal.

This is an excellent classic dress watch. If there were no AP tank/tonneau in my box already I'd have bought this within minutes. Rectangular & square watches wear much bigger than their measurements imply.

Thanks Dennis, yes I should have used a wrist shot with a suit and cuff to show "the look". I don't seem to go to enough 'dress-up' events to justify keeping it. :(

Hmm.... Aussie dollar is not doing well at the moment

So, this watch is cheaper to buy from outside Australia, AND there is now a once only price reduction to $400AUD. Whew!
