I'm afraid it's a redial

You obviously didn鈥檛 read the description 馃槈

A very beautiful Longines Tre Tacche with a Stepped Bezel. Watch is in running condition, winds smooth and time sets properly. Acrylic crystal is clear and in excellent condition. Dial and hands are near perfect. Staybrite case is unpolished, with sharp edges. Watch is close to mint condition. Please note, time accuracy or waterproofing is not guaranteed. Service history is unknown. Please refer to pictures and let me know if you have any questions.

I'm foaming at the mouth to start hunting vintage mil pieces as the next chapter in my collection. Just waiting for the right timing financially

Indulge us by elaborating...

A military watch is one that has been bought by a government to equip certain members of its military.
It should bear markings on the case back indicating the issuing country and it should be possible to identify the branch of the military to which it is issued.

In short: watches are not military just because they have steel cases, stamped numbers on the back, and / or luminous dials.

This watch has nothing to do with any military of the period.

PS- have you been post farming to reach 200 posts and sell a watch? You鈥檝e been posting questions and comments containing no substantive information every two minutes in what appears to be a race to accrue 200 posts. That is prohibited by the rules. Best regards

@64Wing if you had remained polite I would have regretted if I made a mistake.
However and since I鈥檓 a lady I will just let the mods deal with your disgustingly rude insults.

As for the military watches, my reply was accurate. Feel free to take the info or leave it.
Ms. Syrte, my reply was peppered with a level of jest I share with friends (the hydraulic mule part, it's an aviation tool). That aside, I have every right to be active on this forum and I'm sure you can understand my distaste for being accused in the way you have accused me.

Of particular grievance is your assessment that my posts are somehow not substantive. Now, I may be misunderstanding how the machine carries its tally on this, but on my profile page in the information tab the ratio of likes to posts is nearly equal to 1. Wouldn't that number be dreadfully lopsided if nothing I said was well received?

I stand by my supposition that (for whatever reason) you've taken it upon yourself to try and sniff out post farmers. (Let's be honest that Chuck Norris bit was worth a CHUCKle). Post farming bothers me too. But it was immediately obvious to me that you drew a hasty conclusion based on only a cursory review of the latest posts area.

As others have ultimately said in threads like these: it is annoying, yes. But the diligence of the buyer will prevail when these "sellers" come to pedal their wares.

Lastly, because I could've been more courteous with coffee in me, I'm sorry if my post offended you personally. But I want you to know that I was also offended.

I hope we can just let this one lie and we can laugh together at the real post farmers...

I'll make them a deal on these. Freshly picked!

Some study how to butcher a watch apparently, cause they are master at this
