Up for sale is a 1971 (2.7mm serial) Rolex Day-Date, reference 1803 with the unique 5 minute track dial. Dial is in amazing condition with all lume plots in tact and hands that match the plots perfectly. Case is extremely strong. Vintage
Day-Dates always seem to be over polished, and although I hate to use the term "unpolished," it is a very fat case. All hallmarks and stamps are extremely sharp. Watch comes on a Bulang and Sons calf skin band with an authentic Rolex gold plated buckle.

Asking $8,500. Price includes insured shipping with the continental US. Bank wire or Paypal F&F. Face to face transaction possible in Chicago. I have numerous references on TRF and OmegaForums as both a buyer and a seller. Happy to chat via phone, FaceTime or text.

Not usually a fan of this type of watch, but that looks very handsome.

thanks for kind words, David. It really is a striking watch and I hate to let it go but I’m working on a trade+cash for something and need to move a few watches.
