    What’s the point of luminous hands on a dial that has no lume ?

    Actually, some manufacturers did do that. I have some very nice Eterna that have gilt dials and lume-filled hands. It wouldn't have been so difficult to tell the time with hands only.

    On a true military watch, though? No way.

    Isn't the circled-T on the dial supposed to indicate tritium lume? In which case, why is there no lume on the dial?

    good point! a stretch would be to say it's just for the hands...

    but yeah it looks like most signs point to the fact that this is a redial/fake. Although the movement and case does look legit, and the dial font does look correctly aged in some areas.... either a redial or a very very very rare original?
