I generally prefer to avoid any glorification of the military, including its hardware, but this video and its "micro-turbine" stars are pretty cool. Watch it full screen if you are on a computer!

Incredible and fantastic! Ship boarding is so dangerous! This seems safer. It may require some type of distraction in the case of armed ship boarding. Otherwise the pirates (or enemy) … may act like duck hunters. I enjoyed it so much that I have included screen shots. Thank you!

They need a light PDW attached to one or both of the arm units.
Better yet a shoulder mounted projector to fire a spread of flash bang grenades with heads up display system mounted to the helmet. That should clear the deck for a LZ nicely.

For sure something the pirates who attempted taking over Captain Phillips' ship could have used! 😜

Neat toy, and I want to fly one, but seems like a disaster waiting to happen if the jet suit operator cannot use his hands for a show of force with a rifle or pistol. Especially since the rest of your boys are now a few minutes behind you and may not make it to rendezvous with you on the upper deck. Seems like a great way to get caught or killed while simultaneously handing technology to your enemy. Call me a skeptic

I could see it working if used at night against an enemy like Somali pirates who probably don't have NVGs.

They do have ears though...

Edit: ...which are directly connected to their nervous trigger fingers

It is cool however it may serve a better purpose elsewhere. Forget trying to board a hostel vessel that way. Hard pass
