I saw this watch, and I'm wondering if this is legit? I don't anything about this style of Omega watches.

 

What reference is this case?

 

ref. 2179/5 was from the mid 40`s and a few were ordered by the US army in germany. not many issued and this dial is repainted in a later style. some will call it a Franken watch; whatever that is..... kind regards. achim
