After more info on this military chronograph. annoyingly there are no movement pics available.

Looks like a refurbished French military chrono (Airain, Dodane, Chronofixe) Telltale signs are the refurbished countdown bezel, strange dial which I suspect isn't original. The caseback should have markings had it been an issued watch. And pics of the movement would certainly help determining if it ever had a military pedigree.

 

Movement shot is really irrelevant - so many things wrong here, I don’t know where to start.

Agree with you partly. For full money this is a lemon. For EUR 500 I'm game

 

Ok. But for what?

 

A Broad Arrow on the dial would suggest it was British military issue, but the arrow doesn't look right to me.

 

Doh! I knew I forgot something. Gimme 5 minutes and a white Sharpie and it'll be a dimensionally perfect pheon.

Stating no movement pics are available I am guessing no ? If it’s for sale does the seller have no info about it ?

 

It's at an auction and these are the only pics provided and the description is very minimal, it's not local so can't view it either.

 

Tritium lume doesn't usually go all dark & fungal like that.

No idea, not (yet) published. I found out early this morning that I could not bid. Immediately sent the auctioneer an email. Zero response.

 

Still not published and it seems auction house does not publish results at all.
