A nice, unpolished example... with some DNA:

If the dial doesn’t have the circled T how can we be sure the dial hasn’t been transplanted into this?

Without a doubt a missing circled T lowers the value... but what if it had one? How can we be sure the dial hasn't been transplanted during MoD Service from a 0552 from 1970 into a W10 from 1967?
About 40% of the W10 I have documented in the past do not have a circled T... most of them with dials from that era.

The movement is a handful away from 325/67 should do well, only the lack of T may hold it back a little but is correct.

It looks like a very nice example.

Anyone catch if this sold, and if so the price?

I expected it to go higher...but from various reports perhaps the circumstances of the sale or the current economic climate affected things as it doesn't appear anything sold much above low estimate if at all.

Anyway, a nice pick up for the new owner at that price.

    Hello,

Pictures not taken in the best condition and acrylic quite scratched but on first inspection the watch looks all correct. Looks like an MOD relumed dial but hands seem to be original. Caseback numbers are correct and movement serial is within range of other known examples but this will need to be confirmed by the Omega archives. Not unheard though if movement was replaced during service while the dial was fixed up as well.

Will see when all pieces come together but in all a decent unit at an excellent price I think. Will keep you posted.

Thank you for all the support I bought the watch guided by an expert on these models it passed all his and my inspection and it was a remarkably good price in my humble opinion
The weather was just too hot and the football too distracting for the sale which was poorly attended and low ball bid
