His favorite "ladies" being various Omegas. He returned to his Omega roots about a decade ago. Since then he has sold off all of his Bastard brands. That is if you consider Patek, Vacheron, Lange etc. "Bastard brands". Subsequently he has worn a few, maybe quite a few, different Omegas. Some newer versions some vintage models. Hard to believe he fell in love with vintage models. In his 50+ decades of sometimes collecting, but mostly buying, selling and now trading, Mickey never owned a Rolex.With the help from his friends Mickey found a vintage Rolex Sub he fell in love with. Mickey's now wearing an all original 16800 with beautiful patina matte plots and sweeps. Given that Mickey once led me down the ruinous path of Lange the Bastard Brand , it is poetic justice that Mickey is now partway down the equally ruinous path of vintage Rolexes Seriously, very nicely patina-ed Sub! Congrats!
Mickey is just trying something new (like mom always told him to) but still loves what he loves. A bit of variety is a good thing, especially when the other good thing is a beautiful example. Congrats.
