Is there an issue with either the sweeps and/or dial. Hopefully original or at least factory service replacements. Thoughts? At the very least he's happy because this two-tone silver dial and those coffin-box markers are really pleasant to look at '-)
I'm still learning the ropes, but without the drooping "r" shouldn't the "m" include three humps instead of two? The transition from the "a" to the "m" looks off as well. I hope I'm wrong here, looks like a very nice, uncommon SM.
Ask and you shall receive;-) I am still asking fellow forum member's considered opinion on this one - please.
HI MIki Is this the one from the hotly discussed auction a little while ago? As I recall there were no inside-the-case shots or movement shots. Can you fill in the blanks?
Many thanxs for responding. I recall the discussion. It would be most helpful if you can lead me to the link.
That's a great question John. It's already out for a "Safety Service". My watchmaker will take scans of the movement and caseback and forward them to me prior to service. I'll post those scans ASAP. My thoughts are: At the very least this is an Omega service/replacement dial and maybe the same for the sweeps. Considering what I will have invested, I'll be happy to wear it as my latest "Daily Beater". Now only "time" will tell ;-)
