Hi Guys,

I am new to the forum and appreciate the efforts made within this community.

I am offered by a friend to buy his Michael Schumachur Speed master LE 500 pc (Panda with M. S. signature on the dial), the reference on the cards is 3853.3200, when searched for it, I found few posts online talking about the same watch however under different ref 3553.3200. as per him bought this watch a while ago through pre-owned dealer.

I am not sure is this is something common in Omega production, can the same watch have different ref numbers? or are they 2 different watches? or am I missing anything here?

Any help or guidance is highly appreciated.

Cheers,
Mohamed

If it is one of the speedmaster Schumacher editions limited to 500, it should be 3553.32.
Quite a special watch, never offered for sale by Omega to the general public.

I ran into the same situation, any feedback will help. Mine is actually the other way around where I have ref: 3553.32 and the one I can find selling are 3853.32, can they be the same watch?

They are exactly similar looking and produced 500 pieces only but 3553.3200 was exclusively given by MSC to his Ferrari team members and not sold publicly by Omega the other one 3853.3200 is publicly sold by Omega. if you look at both closely, there is a tiny difference in the MSC signature location on the dial and the brightness of the red color.
@mapf2000 If you have the 3553.3200 it's much more rare to find and goes at least 1.5x the price of 3853.3200 if not double.
